The School Council

schoolCouncil

In September, we hold elections in each class. We all vote for a boy and a girl to become our class representatives for the School Council. We then meet regularly with Mrs. Thompson to discuss issues which are important to our school.

Listening Friends

listeningFriends

Listening Friends are trained and meet regularly to talk to Mrs Edwards about how things are going.  They work on a rota and take turns at playtime to help children deal with problems.   If a child has a worry about something they can come to talk to a Listening Friend.

TIGERs

The Trafalgar Infant Green Environmental Rangers (TIGERs) are nominated by class teachers in September.  Ms. Hutchins holds regular meetings to discuss ways to make our school more environmentally friendly.  Please remember to turn the light off when you finished looking at our page!

Music Maestros

Music Maestros

Music Maestros are chosen for their love and enthusiasm for music. They help Mrs Burton with music assemblies, choir rehearsals and performances and promoting music across the school both during lesson time and playtime.

Digital Leaders

Digital leaders

Digital Leaders are trained to help pupils across the school understand, enjoy and use technology safely. They help Mrs Burton deliver online-safety assemblies, support children to log on and off and trial new apps, software and games.

PE and Sports

At our school, children develop confidence and physical competence by taking part in a large number of varied activities. We build on children’s natural enthusiasm for moving and harness this energy into a range of sports.

You can find out about the impact of the PE and Sports funding last year and how we intend to build on this with our plans for this year.
